How can I apply for a position with BNSF Logistics?

I don't have a résumé. Is that a problem?
No, it’s not a problem. You can build your resume online during the application process, but having a resume that highlights your experience and talents ready will expedite your application process.

What should I include in my resume?
Consider a customized resume that is tailored specifically to the specific job of interest and that highlights your unique skill sets (e.g. leading people, problem-solving, technical skills). Use the job posting as a guide. Present previous relevant experiences, accomplishments, skills, training and education. You may be competing with hundreds of other qualified candidates, so put your best foot forward!

I will be available for work in the future, but am not currently available. When should I apply?
Typically, jobs post 30 to 90 days in advance of the anticipated start date. If you are available for work when the posting is available on the careers website, apply online.

Is a cover letter required?
No, a cover letter is not required.

What is the current status of my application?
Upon completion of the online application process, you will receive a visible confirmation (e.g., "Your resume has been successfully sent!") and receive a confirmation e-mail. At that point, your application is submitted to the job or jobs of your choice. Applications are screened for the most qualified candidates to proceed to the next step in the process.
